April Newsletter

Welcome to our One Day Project Community Interest Company April 2020 newsletter.

As our premises remain closed we are still busy working from home to ensure when we re-open we can continue to provide face-to-face support as well as offering some fabulous bargains in our community shop.

Website under construction

April has seen work starting on our website.  Thank you to Jonathan who is working on this for us, putting everything together and providing invaluable help, tips, and advice along the way.

This will be live as soon as possible and updated with new photographs as we complete various works at One Day Project.

For those who have visited our premises either to chat, attend sessions or to shop, will have noticed that our area dedicated to community space has been a little ‘open plan’ and the remainder of the premises has been closed while these session take place.

With thanks to the Wirral Together Fund, we are excited to be able to convert this space into a private meeting room and community space. Preparation work has now started.

Fundraising

Once we see the other side of COVID-19, one of our priorities will be to recruit a small team of Volunteer Fundraisers. We have been, and continue to work alongside our friends at Community Action Wirral in putting in place a full volunteer package.

Details of these vacancies will be available here, in our newsletter and our social media channels.

We would like to remind you all that although we are unable to open at present, we are still here should you need us.

If you are struggling, or just need someone to share your concerns with, we can be contacted via email or Facebook messenger.

As always, thank you for your continued support, we really appreciate all your kind words, donations and custom.

The company will offer workshops, informal drop-ins, community space, and a second hand shop. There will also be structured volunteering programmes and training opportunities.
